Bridges Development Center is founded on a mission to serve the neurodivergent children and their families, and ultimately our aim is to make our school model accessible to a variety of income levels. The Bridges’ model not only helps its students and families, but also the broader community. Bridges Development Center is a registered 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, EIN #93-2430975.
Opening a school comes with significant start-up costs—from securing and preparing our location inside the Adat Shalom building to purchasing therapeutic and classroom materials, building our sensory-supportive environment, and establishing essential operational systems.
As a nonprofit organization, our long-term funding model will include tuition, private grants, community donations, and coaching/consulting. During our start-up phase, fundraising and grant support are critical. These early investments make it possible for us to open our doors, offer a specialized therapeutic model that is unique to this community, and build an environment that truly meets the needs of neurodivergent children and their families. The neurodiversity movement is here and gaining rapid momentum, shining light as the identified needs of young children continue to climb. Our Center will bridge the support systems of our children through a researched-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach to enrich their well-being.
You CAN help. There are many ways to engage with Bridges Development Center as we establish our initial location:
